| A BBK that has been fully designed from a systems level for optimum braking is ideal, no argument there. If you have the funds for it and really need it, go for it. However changes can be made that, while not optimal, still offer improvements in performance over the stock setup. The kits we're talking about in this thread DO offer improvements and they ARE effective. This "less than optimal but better than stock" approach is utilized quite routinely, in fact I would consider it the norm and optimal as the exception.
